A True Indian Summer
A cooler than normal flowering period late last year has meant that crops are lighter than average. Then the prolonged summer with the warm days and cool nights has resulted in the fruit having a perfect natural balance with a wide range of flavour spectrums. From a winemaking point of view this is fantastic as it allows us to create some interesting and exciting blends. This year should be one of the greats !
